Frascione Gallery has sold a painting by Giacomo Francesco Cipper, known as Todeschini to the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Orleans. Among the authors of the late seventeenth century, Giacomo Francesco Cipper known as Todeschini is certainly an artist of great historical-artistic interest. He is among the first to raise the genre scene, elevating the protagonists, poor men, beggars or simple workers, to a rank of figurative, character and social dignity. For these reasons, and naturally due to the high quality and state of conservation of the canvas, the painting depicting a Ciabattino e muratore interested the director and curators of the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Orleans.
